Time flies

It feels like just yesterday that i was walking up and down the hallways of SMDU.. complaining bout not feeling prepared for my SPM trials.. Seven months down the road and yet it does not feel like its been half a year that I've left high school. With my busy schedules on weekdays and weekends, it does seem like theres even less time to stop and smell the roses so to say.. >.<

Before you know it, it'll be the final semester exams ! O.o and then we'll be off to our universities, straying from our comfort zones yet again just to start all over. Well I never thought i would be ending my college so soon, in fact i have never even started thinking about all this all over again until I notice all the facebook statuses updated with the step up / step downs taking place in school.

On a lighter note, I'd like to wish my juniors all the best in carrying out the responsibilities allocated with the various post presented to them.. you guys should enjoy your year as seniors as it will be one of the few years that could lead you making memories with friends that would last a life time. :)

Ah, what faint memories of me starting of in St Johns all lost and blurr in form one.. I would say I gain that bit more of clarity when i was in form four as grace's ASL.. ;) thats when i actually grew fond of the organisation itself. Then, it was the SL's for camp squads in Form Three... The Horror of dreading MK :) I had Pei Yeen :) she was definitely a life saver and a great help :P me sister after all. And then it was form four, we stepped up and became part of the B.O.D :) it was certainly memorable.. the stresses and everything but we definitely grew closer that year :) and then it was form 5 our year to step down and leave :( and then we progressed to becoming the Ex B.O.D.

Time really does fly..

Sem 2

Well its nearing the end of my semester one holidays and i'm kinda undecided about how i feel of it. A side of me is longing to get back to college as there is this part of my brain thats sick of not being used often enough. :) Besides staying home this often is making me procrastinate even more.. >.<
as though i aint lazy enough :)

on the bright side i've actually trained on my golf a whole lot more. On the other hand theres this other half of my brain which is too lazy to start regurgitating all the facts once again what more going through the hassle of waking up extra early just to get to college, the reluctance to cramp myself with all the other sweaty tired people on the bus. Blehh. Right now, that part of my brain is still pulsating harder. So right now i wish my holidays would last that bit longer. aih.

Not to mention, after the holidays some of my friends will leave their colleges as they have received a better offer through JPA. Screw the governments requirements to study in its local colleges. There goes my monday breakkies, my tuesday lunchies, my friday evenings as well as my any day available time together !
I feel as though im just settling down and yet i have to pick myself up all over again, harden my heart to the numb feelings just to get through each coming day as though i was going to war.. mummy !! well imma stop ranting now. Glees on ! :) hopefully that will distract me in the meantime :)

I wanna call you tonight ! ;p toodles peeps.

yes & no ?

Tell her she looks beautiful; not "sexy" or "hot"

Boys, remember, all girls are pretty, but yours is the Prettiest!

Hold her hand at any moment … even if its just for a second

Leave her voice or text messages to wake up to, girls really like this, trust me, you make her day even better!

Wrestle with her but let her win.. we find it cute :)

Don’t go hang out with you ex when she is not with you although she allows it, you might not realize how badly it hurts her.

Write her notes or letters, it is never old fashion to girls

Introduce her to your friends, she feels appreciated

Play with her hair

Pick her up although she didn't ask you to do so, its common courtesy

Make her laugh, she'll be the happiest person of the day

Let her fall asleep in your arms

If you care about her, don't tell, but show her instead

Treat her the same around your friends as you do when you’re alone.

Look her in the eyes and smile

If your listening to music, let her listen too.

Always call her when you say you will, it may not seem like it, but it does hurt her and makes her think you don’t care so call even if you can only talk for a minute

Girls don’t necessarily have to have hour long conversations every night but its nice for us to hear your voice even for a quick hello.

Hang out with her whenever you are free

Be there for her and help to take care of her when she’s sick

Offer to treat her and pay for things, but don't do it every single time, they don't want to feel completely dependent on you

When she needs a suggestion, give her a straight "yes" or "no", never say "up to you" or "it doesn't matter to me"

Kiss her on the forehead, it says more than just passion and lust, it shows respect and adoration.

Boys, when people dis her, stand up for her.

Text message a girl or call her, tell her to have a great day in the morning, and have a nice sleep at night, they love it!

If a girl denies something being wrong, it means she doesn't want to talk about it, so just keep it shut.

Don't compare girls breasts with Pamela Anderson's or her ass with Beyonce's

Boys, you don't have PMS; don't act like you know what it's like.

Girls don't enjoy talking dirty to a guy as much as guys enjoy listening.

Boys, don't ever lie to a girl, they'll find out

When a girl answers, "I'm fine" after a few seconds, she is not that fine

When a guy breaks a girls heart, she still feels it even like 3 years later!

Girls love boys who actually take some time to read this and take an action

Singapore Retreat

30th April - 2nd May

Well we've actually planned this quite early in the year, soon after our penang getaway :)
ahuh, we were that eager for another holiday right after our first ended. Well it was a college week for all of us, so we only took the evening plane down to Singapore. Arrived around seven ish before rushing of to YMCA Hotel :) We met Nic there and of we left again as we had a movie to catch and a dinner to squeeze in. Well, we kinda got loss and only arrived at the mall by nine >.<

The next morning after our breakky, we headed of for Universal Studios :) There, we met Wei Hau ! He was happy to see us too, i think :)
We started of with an accelerator ride if im not mistaken. Sounds cool but it was more like the huge teacup ride in genting just with a fancier name :) Everyone was disappointed that the main attraction, the super thrilling ride, well the most grown up ride there was close for maintainance.

Nonetheless, we managed to satisfy ourselves by riding the Mummy Returns Ride over and over and over again :) the sheer pleasure of screaming and attempting to take the best photos was fun. With the amount of times we went on that ride, we even figured out short cuts within the maze itself. We did eventually stop when we managed to acquire our best poser picture :) though i can say it was preety much the same for Kah Yung in every picture.

*Hands gripping onto the handle with his eyes shut tight and his mouth open wide :D *

We also watched the 4D movie of Shrek in Far Far Away Land, watched some random street dancers, took pictures everywhere :) suffered and sweated every last drop of water from ourselves due to the super humid and hot hot weather, but but but we actually survived !! Sunburnt maybe but content nonetheless like little children :) We ended our day there late evening with the last ride that got us all wet !! :) useless ponchos we bought but i guess we could say it was refreshing ;) we certainly came down screaming :) The Rapids i think it was called :)

Later on that night, after washing up we had dinner in some restaurant before staying up the whole night playing cards and werewolves again. ;) It seems to be our tradition to stay up real late till the wee hours of the morning just playing games till we're semi conscious we dint even realise whats going on any longer :)
The next day, we celebrated Han Xern's Birthday and gave away more presents :) Then, we had to pack :( most dreaded part of all our vacations if i dont say so myself >.<>

Nick followed us to the airport until he couldnt no more. Hugs and goodbyes were passed along till we next meet again. I cant wait for Sheraton in June :)

The End.
:)

Time Capsule

Fitness First is organizing an event which contributes back to Mother Earth.
Each member that pays RM 200 will be entitled to a tree sapling which costs RM 100 along with
5 t- shirts, bags, and other goodies. The one goodie that really striked my interest was the post card that was to be placed in a time capsule for 20 years.

I've already filled one up on behalf of my family. It really is interesting to think that all these postcards filled with messages will only be dug out in twenty years time. By then, i'd be thirty eight O.o . I would have finished and graduated from studying and most probably married as well.. It is kind off scary to think that far forward into the future although it really is not that far fetched.
This event will take place in FRIM ( FOREST RESEARCH INSTITUTE MALAYSIA) Each member will plant their saplings as well as bury their postcards in the prepared chests. This is all brought to us by PLANET FIRST
FITNESS FIRST <3 MOTHER EARTH
Hopefully the human race is willing to use their heads to ensure there will still be fireflies and pretty pretty scenery all over the world in 20 years time :)

Giving back to society

Well not too long ago, Han decided to start off a project within our group of friends to contribute back to society.
We are after all out of school and should do our part starting now to give back :) Besides, it will be a good way for us all to meet more as we tend to get "clique sick" a whole lot easier when we're in college.. so by carrying out this project we actually get to hang out more and for a noble cause at that.. There are currently 10 of us involved which includes Han, Horng Qing, Serene, Sabs, Kah Yung, Kar Tong, Pei Yeen, Adam, Jun Herng and me ;p
So after the many many weeks of meeting and planning, we finally chose our selected home which is Rumah Sayangan. Rumah Sayangan happens to house 15 young children ranging from the ages of 4 to 15. Our first meeting was with the care taker, Miss Susan. She's indeed a very nice woman, though she may look a little intimidating at first, she really is very sweet and only wants the best for her children.
After deciding the best suited times and methods, we started of our first week of assessments. Basically, we just talked to each and every child. We helped them open up into sharing their troubles in schools, their weakest subjects as well as their strongest. It was overall a very interesting experience as it led us into understanding them better.
We came back two weeks after to start of with our lessons. Some of the children seemed reluctant to study on a weekend at first, but once we warmed up to them and exposed them to a more interactive and fun environment, they just hopped on and started learning. Most of the tutors managed to cover their allotted subjects within the time given and it was indeed time well spent.
The children maybe very playful but when it was crunch time, they did listen with a little bit of threat from their care taker :) even though our classes are on weekends, times we treasure the most to just kick it back and relax from our chaotic weeks, we still value the smiles and satisfactions more to be willing to keep coming back in the future.
